Zlatan Ibrahimovic is keen to remain at Manchester United for another two years, according to reports.

Despite being 35 years old, Ibrahimovic has taken to English football with both an experienced head and youthful energy, scoring 26 goals for Manchester United already.

Having proved his ability, the Swedish striker is now prepared to pen a new two-year deal at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail, which would see him reach the age of 37 before leaving.

Ibrahimovic has won two trophies since arriving at Old Trafford in the summer, scoring the winning goal in both the Community Shield in August and the League Cup final on Sunday.

The EFL Cup winners' medal took his personal tally to 32 trophies over his career, which could extend further as Manchester United competes in the FA Cup and Europa League this season.

But Jose Mourinho, the United manager, also requires Ibrahimovic's impact to help the club climb into the Premier League's top four.

Mourinho's team is currently sixth in the Premier League, one point behind Liverpool in fifth and with a game in hand.

United hosts Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Saturday, while Liverpool takes on fourth-place Arsenal at Anfield.

Manchester United will require a top-four finish in the table to qualify for the Champions League, unless it wins the Europa League.
